Gluhwein is the most famous among them. There are many recipes of Gluhwein and we want to demonstrate you out vision of this drink. This recipe was tested on company’s employees. 🙂

750 ml red wine

150 ml water

3 tbsp honey

1 tsp cinnamon

3-4 cloves

1 tsp culinary lavender

1 orange

In saucepan combine water, honey, lavender and spices, bring to a boil. Cut the orange, place in boiling water, pour in red wine, reduce heat and heat until steaming but not simmering. Turn off heat, cover the saucepan and let it brew for 5-7 minutes.

You can regulate the sweetness with additional honey ore sugar. If you prefer something more “strong” you can add some brandy.

There are 2 main rules of making Gluhwein:

1) Don’t use expensive wine

2) Don’t boil the wine

Everything else is up to your taste.

Have a nice winter!
